According to the law, special campaigns will no longer be organized for Turkish users. Campaign promotions will not be possible. Leveraged transactions will be prohibited.

According to the article “Promotional campaigns cannot be organized in which any interest or benefit is provided to people who bring customers to the platform by any means or to the customers they bring in”, it is now prohibited for exchanges to run promotions for references.

Receiving orders from applications such as Whatsapp and Telegram is prohibited. It was emphasized that records should be kept regarding the orders received.

On the other hand, NFTs and cryptocurrencies used in games were excluded from these laws. Transacting on P2P platforms under one’s own name and on someone else’s account will be considered unauthorized activity.

Companies included in the [List of Active Companies] published by the CMB will continue to work with Türkiye in accordance with the rules.

Binance, Gate TR and OKX, which are also mentioned in the list, made statements on the subject.

Binance shared the following message from its Twitter account Binance Global Turkish;

“In line with the regulation, Binance.com and all foreign exchanges will still be accessible from Turkey. However, in accordance with the law, some changes will be made in some activities in Turkey. Below are the important points You can reach:

Turkish language support on Binance’s website will be phased out within 3 months.

In English and other supported languages, Türkiye users will be able to use Binance.com without any changes.

There will be no special advertisements or campaigns aimed at Turkish users.

Türkiye users will be able to participate in global campaigns on their own initiative.

Turkish customer service support will continue for Türkiye users.”
