Sony and Animoca established a partnership to strengthen anime culture on web3

Sony's blockchain platform Sonyium collaborated with Animoca Brands to spread anime culture in the world world.

Within the scope of the partnership, anime art works will be integrated with decentralized digital identities.

Companies announced on March 27, aiming to increase user interaction in the Web3 ecosystem, announced that they have started a cooperation targeting global anime and manga fans.

With this partnership, Animoca’s digital identity infrastructure platform will create a layer of identity on Soneium blockchain. First, Anime ID, which is an unreliable identity and reputation system, will be included in this system.

Anime ID is managed by the San Fondocchio initiative, which aims to combine traditional anime and manga culture with decentralized technologies. With this partnership, MoCa Network’s account, Identity and Reputation Software Development Kit (AIR SDK) will be integrated into Soneium Blockchain.

Thus, users will be able to process with a single identity and reference system in different decentralized applications on the network.

The Anime ID of San Fondokyo will be the first project to adopt AIR SDK, which will increase the interaction of anime fans on Soneium.

In addition, in cooperation with San Fondokyo and Animoca Brands, various cultural campaigns will be organized to include anime fans in Soneium Blockchain and to provide new anime -themed experiences.

David Taing, the president of San Fondokyo, said that Anime ID has made blockchain technology “more natural için for anime and manga fans.

“Currently, navigating in the web3 area can be a complex process because it requires many wallets, platforms and accounts. Anime ID facilitates this experience by providing fans a simple identity that they can use in all Fandom fields.”

Taing announced that the first project of the partnership would be Soneium Anime Art Festival. This event aims to highlight anime -oriented intellectual property, creators and web3 projects.

“In cooperation with the otherworld team, we are excited to start the project with Solo Leveling, which has attracted great interest worldwide.”

On the other hand, MoCa Network Project leader Kenneth Shek said that anime culture has an important place in today’s entertainment world and that this cooperation is only one start.

“We start with anime, but we expect that many different entertainment applications will participate in the network and further enrich the data ecosystem with user -oriented identity.”

Sony Block Solutions Labs (Sony BSL) launched the SONEİUM Blockchain’s public test network on 28 August 2024. Developed as Layer-2, this network aims to unite the creators and fan communities that bring different values together through Blockchain.

However, on January 14, the main network became active, some community members reacted. Alon, the founder of Pump.fun, criticized the network to put certain memecoins on the black list and reset users’ positions.

On March 25, OpenAI introduced the visual creation feature for Chatgpt-4O. After this development, the visuals created in the style of Studio Ghibli on social media became popular. Following this interest, a Ghibli -themed Memecoin reached a market value of 20 million dollars, and at least 20 different Ghibli -oriented Memecoin appeared in the market.

Although these developments may seem positive for web3 and anime fans, anime and crypto passion may not be advantageous for everyone. In a survey conducted on August 26, it turned out that women considered the anime as the third hobby for men and the second most driving hobby.
