SG-Forge launched Euro-Supported Stablecoin in Stellar

Societe Generale -forge (SG-Forge), a subsidiary of the Societe Generale Group and licensed investment company, announced its Euro-supported stablecoin to the Blockchain network.

Recently, many stablecoin exporters in Europe have announced that they have chosen to launch their own stablecoin on the Stellar network, as well as receiving regulatory approval to provide stablecoins that are compatible with Crypto Asset Markets (Mis) regulations.

According to the company’s announcement of 20 February, Mica -compatible Eurcv Coinvertible Stablecoin was published on Stellar and the first step of the company’s multi -chain strategy was taken.

This digital Euro Stablecoin will benefit from the speeds, scalability and low trading costs offered by Stellar Blockchain. For users, the biggest return of this move will be to contribute to the Blockchain -based border payment ecosystem and offer a more efficient financial infrastructure.

The adoption of SG-Forge’s Stablecoin will increase especially between financial institutions and asset managers.

Guillaume Chatin, SG-Forge Chief Income Responsible, emphasized the importance of integration, “Integration with Stellar is a critical turning point that brings traditional finance and digital asset ecosystem more zoom. The approach of Stellar and its relations with asset managers in the traditional financial world completely coincide with our goals for the more widely use of stablecoins in the financial system ”.

This cooperation will not only expand the usage areas of EurcV Stablecoin, but also increase the use of Stellar Blockchain in the field of decentralized finance (defi) and web3.

One of the biggest developments supported by the integration between SG-Forge and Stellar will be asset tokensation. In recent years, this area has become a rapidly growing sector with the interest of large financial institutions such as Blackrock, Fidelity Investments and Franklin Templeton.

SG-Forge was founded in 2018 as a digital asset and blockchain service provider operating under Societe Generale Group. The company offers Blockchain -based financial solutions for corporate investors and exporters.

In April 2023, SG-Forge launched the Eurcv Stablecoin on Ethereum Blockchain. The company had already announced that it plans to introduce the same stablecoin on the XRP Ledger in 2025.

The company’s approvals from financial regulators includes an electronic money institution license given by Autorité de Contrôle Contrôle Prudentiel et Résolution. In addition, France’s financial market regulator Autorité des Marchés financiers authorized by a digital asset service provider (DASP) license.

The integration of SG-Forge into the Stellar network is considered as an important step that supports the development of the stablecoin ecosystem. Especially with the clarification of stablecoin regulations in Europe, it is observed that the interest of major financial institutions has increased in this field.

SG-Forge’s Mica-compliant Stablecoin move stands out as a development that accelerates the integration of blockchain-based financial systems into traditional markets.
