PoAI: A New Era for Decentralized Artificial Intelligence Networks

PoAI: A New Era for Decentralized Artificial Intelligence Networks

io.net, the decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN), has collaborated with the decentralized artificial intelligence education platform called FLock.io to introduce a new consensus mechanism called "Proof of AI" (PoAI).

This innovation aims to increase the reliability of decentralized networks and provide a scalable solution for artificial intelligence applications. According to the press release shared with Cointelegraph, it is emphasized that PoAI is the first of its kind in this field and aims to ensure security in decentralized networks.

PoAI is touted as an important step in the development of decentralized artificial intelligence systems. Milan Amin, chief marketing officer of io.net, stated that PoAI aims to verify the integrity of computational resources, especially in decentralized networks, and to ensure that participants are truly contributing.

Amin stated that PoAI rewards those who contribute and discourages those who do not make genuine contributions while trying to achieve rewards.

The PoAI mechanism is designed to check whether participants in DePINs actually provide computational resources. In this way, it is thought that decentralized artificial intelligence systems will be more reliable and transparent.

By introducing this verification mechanism, PoAI ensures that simulations that only seek to obtain rewards are avoided and the efficiency of the system is increased. Amin emphasized that this mechanism will enable decentralized networks to be a more reliable solution for artificial intelligence applications.

The introduction of PoAI is considered as part of io.net’s strategy to strengthen the decentralized network ecosystem. As stated in the press release, the implementation of PoAI will verify the integrity of DePIN nodes while also performing this verification in a decentralized and artificial intelligence-based manner.

io.net’s recent innovative steps also reveal the company’s future goals. However, this process brought with it some difficulties. On June 10, 2024, Ahmad Shadid, one of the co-founders of io.net, was forced to leave his position due to allegations regarding his past.

When leaving his position, Shadid stated that this decision was taken to avoid distractions that would hinder the company’s progress and to enable io.net to focus on growth and success.

Shadid’s departure came just two days before the project’s token launch, and he was replaced by fellow co-founder and former chief operating officer Tory Green. This leadership change was considered an important step for the company to move on. After Shadid’s resignation, io.net stated that it will continue its development and growth-oriented strategies.

The PoAI mechanism is seen as a turning point for the future development of decentralized artificial intelligence systems. It is expected to play an important role in ensuring reliability and transparency, especially in artificial intelligence-based applications.

This new consensus mechanism will increase the integrity and efficiency of the system by evaluating node judgments within DePINs in a decentralized and artificial intelligence-based way.

The successful implementation of PoAI, in collaboration with io.net and FLock.io, can contribute to the beginning of a new era at the intersection of artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies.

This development will enable decentralized networks to provide more reliable and scalable solutions, allowing artificial intelligence applications to be used in a wider area.
