In the statement made on September 23, it was stated that MyTonWallet will support assets on the Tron blockchain. The integration includes Tron, Tether, Tron’s native token, and other tokens using the TRC-20 standard.

The MyTonWallet team stated that they are the first wallet in the TON ecosystem to integrate Tron-based assets. This step is considered an important development in terms of blockchain compatibility.

MyTonWallet founder Alexander Zinchuk emphasized that asset management across multiple blockchains is becoming increasingly important for users. “Asset management across multiple blockchains is becoming increasingly vital for users, and this initial integration is just the beginning,” Zinchuk said.

Zinchuk also stated that this integration will contribute to the adoption of the TON ecosystem by a wider audience.

“By integrating with other major networks such as Tron, we aim to unite ecosystems and open the TON network to a wider audience,” he added.

In this way, it is aimed for users to transfer assets from different blockchains via the TON network.

MyTonWallet has announced that it will further develop its cross-chain capabilities in the future. The project will reportedly focus on enabling exchanges and adding support for other blockchains such as Binance Smart Chain, Solana, and Ethereum.

These developments are considered part of efforts to achieve broader compatibility between blockchains in the crypto space.

Additionally, on August 6, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin announced plans to resolve compatibility issues on the Ethereum blockchain. Buterin stated that the solution may surprise people very soon.

In this context, on September 18, decentralized exchange (DEX) aggregator 1inch network introduced a new cross-chain exchange solution called “Fusion+”. This solution aims to facilitate swaps by combining on-chain and off-chain liquidity.

It supports “all or nothing” transactions using atomic swap technology. This ensures that users will have all their funds returned to the original owner if exchanges fail.

MyTonWallet’s Tron integration is an example of efforts to create a better connection between existing blockchain technologies. Other projects, such as Hemi Network, take a similar approach and aim to bring together the Bitcoin and Ethereum blockchains.

The Hemi Network team claims that they allow Bitcoin and Ethereum to coexist with a technology called tunneling.
