$ Trump Memecoin Defense from Justin Sun: “Criticizations are narrow -minded, Memecoins are valuable”
Justin Sun, President Trump's special dinner for $ Trump Memecoin owners, responded to Memecoin criticism. He argued that the crypton gained strength in the US again.
Tron Founder Justin Sun attended the dinner of President Donald Trump at a special golf club in Virginia for $ Trump Memecoin owners. After the dinner, Sun made special statements for Coindesk and made striking evaluations about both Memecoin debates and the changing crypto atmosphere in the USA.
Opposing critics’ assessment of $ Trump Memecoin as a kind of bribery mechanism, Sun described this perspective as “short -minded” and “misleading”. Describing Trump’s embracing crypto as “one of the best decisions he has made so far, Sun said that this could be a big turning point for the US:
“All critics should pay attention. There are positive things for the crypto industry,” he said.
Sun reminded that after Trump’s arrival, the US Securities and the Stock Exchange Commission (SEC) stopped civilian fraud cases for Tron and Binance, and some other cases completely reduced. However, within the same week, SEC started a new case against Unicoin and gave a double message.
On the other hand, it is claimed that the US Department of Justice has been conducting a criminal investigation since 2021 for Sun.
Sun is an indication that the changes have become a crypto center of the United States again. Biden said that the hard attitude towards the crypto directs companies to regions such as Hong Kong and Singapore, but with the Trump administration, this trend could be reversed.
“Some investors were thinking of going from the United States, but now they changed their minds,” he said.
The support of Sun’s $ Trump Memecoin is not limited to political stance. According to him, the Memecoins, with examples such as Dge and Shıb, enabled millions of people to meet the crypto.
“Meecoins are completely like doing business, some are successful, some go to zero. This is entrepreneurship,” he says.
Sun opposed Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, describes Memecoins as “some kind of gambling” and “ponzi ında at Consensus 2025 event, and evaluated these comments as a“ superficial approach to the sector.
