🇫🇷 attacks on crypto wealthy people are growing: 25 accusations of the young defendant

French prosecutors accused 25 suspects between the ages of 16 and 23 in connection with an increasing number of attacks on crypto currency holders. In the case seen in Paris, the attack on the family of Pierre Noizat, one of the most remarkable attacks, is one of the most striking attacks.

In the incident on May 13, the daughter, son -in -law and grandson of Noizat were targeted by the four armed men on the streets of Paris. The attack was blocked by the intervention of the surrounding citizens. Three injured people were taken to hospital slightly.

Within the scope of the same investigation, at least two unsuccessful initiatives are examined. Le Monde, the French newspaper, said that most of the defendants were “sub -level” figures and “logistics supporters ve and that the real planners have not yet been caught.

“Young people were tricked with money and the events came out of control,” the lawyer of one of the defendants said.

French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau said that after the attacks, security strategies should be created by coming together with the leaders of the crypto sector:

“We must protect business people in the crypto world together. Criminals will be found no matter where - maybe even abroad.”

Such attacks are not limited to France. Since the beginning of 2025, 29 physical attacks have been reported around the world. This number is on the way to pass the total of 34 cases in 2024.

Attacks on crypto riches bring the physical security dimension of digital assets to the agenda again. Sector and public authorities have to rapidly increase not only digital but also physical measures.
