Ethereum ETF investors under water: average loss reached 21 %
Ethereum ETF investors of Blackrock and Fidelity are faced with serious damages. Average damage is 21 %. The recovery of ETH gives hope, but the ETF effect may be limited.
Ethereum ETF investors in deep loss: average loss is 21 %
According to Glassnode data, Blackrock and Fidelity’s Spot Ether ETF investors are under water in their positions with an average of 21 %unrelated damage.
Glassnode, the crypto analysis platform, reported that most of the investors who invest in Spot Ethereum ETFs presented by Blackrock and Fidelity in their report dated May 29 were serious losses.
The decline in ETH price caused these ETFs to go well below the cost base.

These prices reveal that the price of ETH should rise significantly to pass the positions of investors.
🌍 Trump Tariffs and Effects
ETH was finally over $ 3,000 in February 2025.
After this date, US President Donald Trump declined after import tariffs against China, Canada and Mexico.
On April 9, ETH went down to the lowest level of the year, the day when global tariffs entered into force.

ETH has gained 44.25 %in the last 30 days.
Since May 16, Spot Ether ETFs have entered a total of $ 435.6 million entry for 9 days in a row.
This rise can gain further acceleration with the cancellation of the most of Trump’s tariffs on May 28 by the Federal Court.
📊 How much did ETFs affect the price?
Spot ETH ETFs launched only 1.5 %of the spot market volume.
The highest growth took place in November 2024 and the ETF volume increased to 2.5 %.
This period coincides with the bull rally in which Trump was re -elected president and ETH reached $ 4,007 on December 8th.
However, the volume then fell to 1.5 %again.
