Aleph Zero's New Layer-2 Solution: A New Era in Speed and Privacy

Aleph Zero's mainnet is integrated with Arbitrum Orbit technology and zkOS tools, offering innovative features that will revolutionize blockchain technology.

As a blockchain ecosystem that prioritizes privacy and efficiency, Aleph Zero has integrated its new Ethereum-compatible layer-2 solution into its mainnet. This step is considered an important milestone for the future development of blockchain technology.

This new solution from Aleph Zero was developed with the strategy of using blockchain’s Substrate-based WASM layer 1 as the Data Availability Layer. This structure aims to make data access more effective.

In addition, Aleph Zero’s zero-knowledge operating system (zkOS) aims to bring significant improvements in privacy and security issues by integrating with privacy tools.

One of the innovations brought by the new Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) layer is the significant acceleration of transaction times. By reducing block times to 250 milliseconds, it will enable users to complete their transactions faster.

This will improve the performance of the blockchain network, providing a faster and more efficient user experience. Additionally, the AZERO token will power all gas transactions on Layer-2 and function the same as on Layer-1.

Aleph Zero EVM L2 was developed in collaboration with rollup-as-a-service (RaaS) provider Gelato and will support Ethereum-compatible application development using Arbitrum Orbit technology.

This technology will enable the network to offer higher speed and efficiency, allowing users to use blockchain applications more effectively.

The advantages of the new mainnet include providing a faster and more efficient blockchain experience. Users will be able to benefit more from the advantages offered by blockchain technology, thanks to faster transaction times and advanced privacy features.

Additionally, the zkOS privacy tool aims to reduce ZK proof time and integrate privacy features into blockchain applications. These features will raise the security and privacy standards of blockchain technology.

Aleph Zero also aims to support developer teams who want to develop on its platform with the $50 million funding program announced on April 18. This program aims to increase global blockchain adoption and foster the developer community.

Overseen by the non-profit Aleph Zero Foundation, this funding program provides comprehensive support to developers by offering not only grants but also additional support.

The aim of the program is to ensure that blockchain technology reaches a wider audience by supporting innovative projects and to help developer teams implement their projects. Antoni Zolciak, co-founder of Aleph Zero, stated that this funding program aims to “finance the innovations of developer teams.”

As a result, Aleph Zero’s mainnet marks a significant step forward in blockchain technology, bringing significant improvements in speed, efficiency and privacy. These innovations will greatly contribute to the future development of the blockchain ecosystem and have the potential for wider adoption globally.
